Blind Sensorium: Antropología visual es el resultado de una larga colaboración entre el artista Armin Linke y la Fundació Sorigué para para crear un amplio proyecto artístico de investigación sobre el Antropoceno. La Fundació Sorigué, a través de su proyecto PLANTA, ha respaldado el trabajo de campo y la investigación artística llevada a cabo por Armin Linke junto a sus colaboradores Giulia Bruno y Giuseppe Ielasi sobre las fuerzas que impactan en la faz de la Tierra. Combinando fotografías, películas y entrevistas, la videoinstalación resultante Blind Sensorium es una antropología visual del conflictivo rol que desempeñamos los seres humanos y las sociedades modernas en la transformación planetaria actual. El proyecto se ha presentado en los últimos años en el contexto de importantes exposiciones y programas culturales europeos. La exposición Blind Sensorium: Antropología visual presenta la videoinstalación – una película de 103 minutos acompañada de una línea del tiempo de 26 metros de largo que incluye vídeos, sonido, fotografías y textos – junto con una selección especial de fotografías del archivo de Linke. A través de esta exposición, una coproducción de Fundació Sorigué y Matadero, el artista propone una aproximación visual al cambio climático y su paisaje material desde una perspectiva rigurosa y reflexiva.
Blind Sensorium: Antropología visual is the result of a long-term collaboration with Fundació Sorigué for the creation of an extensive artistic project on the subject of the Anthropocene. Fundació Sorigué, through its PLANTA project, has supported the fieldwork and artistic research carried out by Armin Linke with his collaborators Giulia Bruno and Giuseppe Ielasi on the forces that are impacting on the face of the Earth. Combining photography, film and interviews, the resulting video installation Blind Sensorium is a visual anthropology of the conflicted role human beings and modern societies play in the current planetary transformation. The project has been presented in the context of important European cultural exhibitions and programs in recent years. The exhibition Blind Sensorium: Antropología visual features the video installation—a 103-minute film accompanied by a 26-meter-long timeline including videos, sound, photographs, and texts—along with a special selection of photographs from Linke’s archive. Through this exhibition, a co-production by Fundació Sorigué and Matadero, the artist proposes a visual approach to climate change and its material landscape from both a rigorous and reflective perspective.
